NMEが2002年の「ベスト・ニュー・バンド」ととして取り上げ、『ローリング・ストーン誌が選ぶオールタイム・ベスト・デビュー・アルバム100』にも選出されているUKロックの金字塔として世代を超えて愛され続けている。
